CASCADING STYLE SHEETS

Description:
Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) is related only to HTML and one of the most effective ways to control a Web Page's presentation. CSS allows a designer to store all of the formatting information in one place and update it quickly and easily.

In this course, you will cover: what a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) is and how it relates to HTML, how to control color and typography, design with the cascade method in mind, create class styles, ID styles, and inline styles, design content sections including margins, borders, and floating elements, control layout positioning, enhance an existing design & create alternative style sheets.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Control color and typography.
• Create style sheets that cascade according to established guidelines.
• Design content sections using box properties.
• Control your page layouts with CSS positioning.
• Enhance an existing design.
• Create alternate style sheets and link your pages to them to enhance the accessibility and functionality of your websites.

Prerequisite: HTML Level 2 or equivalent knowledge

Training Type: Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities. Max # of students = 6.
