TECHNICAL INTRODUCTION TO THE INTERNET
Description:
In this course, you will cover the brief history of the internet and its impact on business, the culture at large, how computers actually communicate across the internet, how Web servers and client software work together to enable users to browse information, the roles and responsibilities of Web site developers, the tools that they use and the general principles they follow when developing Web sites, some of the services provided by the Internet, and security hazards that come with connecting to the Internet. This is a beginner's class and is intended for those students with little or no experience using the Internet.
Prerequisite: Internet Level 1 or equivalent knowledge
Training Type: Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities. Max # of students = 6.
