| Q: How long is each class? |
| A: We have several training options available including full day classes, lecture style workshops, and private instruction. Class lengths may vary for each class. |
| Q: Where are your classes located? |
| A: All of our classes are held at our downtown Fort Collins location at 412 S Howes St Suite A1. For directions and parking info,go to the contact page. |
| Q: How do I enroll in a class? |
| A: Courses are available to enroll through our online enrollment system. To get started, find the course you are interested in, and follow the instructions on the course page. If you have any questions on which class is right for you and your skill level, please contact an education specialist. If an available course is not currently scheduled, please use our course request formto request schedule information and availability.Once you have registered online and/or returned your invoice with payment, course enrollment will be confirmed via email.Special arrangements and payment plans are available. Please contact your sales representative to find out more about these special options. |
| Q: What if I have to re-schedule or cancel my scheduled class? |
| A: If you are fully enrolled in a course and you need to re-schedule, we will work with you as best as possible to re-schedule your course date. However, we do require two (2) business days or 48 hours written notice to re-schedule or cancel. Within two (2) business days of the start of your course date, no refunds will be given if you re-schedule or cancel. Read our full course terms and conditions by clicking here. |
| Q: What is the free “re-take” mean and am I eligible? |
| A re-take is given for specific courses as a way for Students to refresh their skills that they learned in the class. A re-take is non-transferable and no textbook is provided (Students need to bring back their original textbook from the class). If a Student does not attend the scheduled class, they are not eligible for a re-take |
| Q: Does it cost more to do a private training vs. a group training session? |
| A: There is a $99 additional fee per student per course for a private instruction at our offices. If our trainer has to travel more than 20 miles from Fort Collins city limits, there will be an additional fee to cover the cost of gas and travel. Please contact your sales representative about this option before enrolling. |
| Q: What forms of payment do you accept? |
| A: FCDW accepts major credit cards, checks, Paypal, or cash at this time.Please make all checks out to the Fort Collins Digital Workshop. Note: Returned checks are subject to a $25 penalty |
| Q: What type of discounts are available? |
| A: The FCDW offers ‘track’ discounts for enrolling in 2 or more courses for 1 software (i.e. Photoshop level 1 and 2 together). We can also negotiate corporate group discounts for groups of 5 or more students and 10 or more students.Contact your sales representative to learn more about these available discounts. |
| Q: What is included in my course fee? |
| A: Full day courses include the following: a professional textbook, a take home CD and/or downloads with practice examples, one month of free email or phone support, and one year for a free re-take of the same course. Certain restrictions may apply.Upon completion of a course, each student receives a ‘Certificate of Completion’ from the Fort Collins Digital Workshop.Lecture style workshops do not include textbooks, but certain reference handouts may be given depending on the workshop and instructor. |
